An important part of ensuring a successful year of learning is understanding classroom expectations. Our classroom behavior expectations are listed in the matrix below. This matrix was developed as part of the school’s “Positive Behavior Intervention and Support” (PBIS) program.
In general, PBIS focuses on teaching positive behaviors with recognition and rewards rather than "rules" and negative consequences. Our classroom behavior expectations are listed below:
